Modern ways of begging… another crisis event?

On a sunny Wednesday morning, while I was walking passively towards my office, following the mass of workers in La Defense, my attention is caught by this humble man, which gave me a flyer that said:

Operation 1 euro – Help my company

I would like to thank you if you will help my company by giving me a 1 euro cheque or via PayPal.

Basically, in order not to lose his business this online shop entrepreneur was asking for money to the office-ants from La Defense. Good positionning, low-cost production (the flyers were printed on standard paper) and a poignant message. The financial crisis’ way of begging! And to this one you can’t tell him: “Stop begging! Go and find yourself a job!” He already has one.
